About Me
Hi, I’m Amy-ann Broomhall, a registered psychologist with a deep commitment to providing warm, affirming and inclusive care. My practice is grounded in curiosity, compassion, and a trauma-informed, client-centred approach.
I bring extensive experience from the community mental health and disability sectors, with a strong interest in working alongside neurodiverse individuals, LGBTQIA+ communities and people navigating complex emotional landscapes. Whether you’re experiencing anxiety, grief, identity exploration, or relational challenges, I’m here to walk beside you at your pace.
I integrate evidence-based therapies like CBT, ACT, DBT (modified), strengths-based and psychodynamic approaches, while always tailoring sessions to suit your needs and goals. With a background in both psychology and the creative arts, I offer a flexible, collaborative space where you can feel truly seen and supported.

Psychology and Counselling
- I am proud to offer neuroaffirming, trauma-informed and culturally competent care for neurodivergent individuals, LGBTQIA+ communities and SW’s. I endeavour to educate myself as a life-long practice on diverse and marginalised groups and the impact of insititutional and interpersonal power dynamics.
- I am adept with clients experiencing stress, anxiety disorders, depression, PTSD, mood disorders, neurodevelopmental differences and challenges and relationship issues.
- I am experienced in supporting NDIS recipients (children, parents and adults) and Work Cover claimants; including ongoing therapy, NDIS and Work Cover reviews and reports, Functional Capacity Assessments and Diagnostic and Cognitive Assessments.
- I can provide WPATH assessments, however, a clinicial psychologist is required to “sign off” on this process. We can discuss how this works over email or a quick phone call. I am deeply committed to providing comprehensive and compassionate gender-affirming care.
- Medicare rebates available with Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) from your GP. More info below.
